Autumn in Australia

I took this at Mum and Dad's place. It's the leaves of a Liquid Amber Tree which is fully-grown in the neighbour's yard.
It is so strange to think and see that the days in your place are getting colder and shorter while we are waiting that the excessive spring rains stops and the temperature is going above 15°C. How deep will the temperature drop during winter in your place?

Sometimes, we get to about 4C depending on the snowfall in the Aussie Alps. Last year was quite cold for our Winter. But I do love Winter because I can rug up and keep warm against the cold. Summer tends to take it out of me too much.

Hi Lynda. Thanks for your answer. We talked about "the Aussie Weather" yesterday evening but none could tell me whether you do have snow or not. Yes I understand if the temperature is getting to high then no more normal life is possible. It's the same here as well.
