This is my art space; where my paintings are when I'm working on them, and where I spend my afternoons while doing them. I spend around an hour or so on them (or until the light outside fades; whichever comes up first) and then I get into organising myself something to eat. It's nice to have this always at the ready.
However, when I'm not working on something, the easel is sitting there, open with a canvas behind it, my brushes all in their bottles cleaned and ready for use.
Recently, I cleaned out the art area/space and found I had more plates for paint than I thought! So, I soaked the old paint off them in the sink (as I use acrylics, that's all you have to do) and now I've got plenty of plates ready to go.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@alia_801@loey5150@weshook Thank you all for your lovely comments. I do love sitting down in the afternoons and chillin' out to a vinyl or two while painting up a storm. :)
@netkonnexion@naladka thanks guys. Just yesterday, I finished this painting, signed it and put up another piece of Masonite to sand down and start on another painting. Yep! I'm on a roll! :D
