Late last night, we had a storm hit the Gold Coast, Logan City and Brisbane. After unplugging the computer, modem and other important electrical things around the place, I decided to retire to bed with a good book and a portable reading lamp; and my waterproof torch by my side.
Today, I went out in to the backyard to see if there was any major damage. To my delight, instead of damage, I found life. These two plants are beginning to flower... how's that for the best thing to come out of a storm?
