Today was Melbourne Cup Day - the race that stops a nation! And Mum, Dad, Uncle Allan and I went out to Lime Light Restaurant to celebrate the day and watch the race. We had the most delicious lunch of prawns and chicken salad (only the prawns for me as I'm vegetarian) and there was complimentary coffee, nibblies and other goodies as well as a sweepstakes to keep us occupied. Mum and I took lots of photos around the place. And I also put on our bets at the TAB; and one of our horses came in 2nd; netting us both $56.40! :D
