The other night, Gabe and Kat brought the fish over to my place for me to mind for the next few months. Yep, it's my turn to have them... they must feel like they're being handed around the family... oh well. They're just so cute!
Yesterday, I had to go to the pet store to pick up some fish food for them. But the place was having a closing down sale. After 33 years in the area, they're going; such a pity. Well! I thought to have a good look around to see what was there I could get the fish - to make them right at home - and I found the castle in the background at almost half price; so I bought that as well as the fish food. They love their new toy... and keep swimming around it, hiding behind it and peeping through the doors and windows! So cute!
The only thing missing now is weed - I'll be off to the pet store at Garden City to see if they have that there; then they'll really look like they're in an undersea kingdom!
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@digitalrn ... or better still, Gabe, Kat and Riley (whose fish they are) will return and they'll find out the fish have a really cool, decked-out tank that no other fish they know of has. :D
It's amazing what one little change does for animals. :)
@wamstreet@digitalrn@loey5150 thank you all for your lovely comments... they're great little fishies and are enjoying their time around the tank and the castle. :)
