Crime Never Sleeps

This morning, I slept in as I've had a big few days.
On Friday I had a huge day of cleaning and tidying up.
On Saturday, a friend of mine - Catherine Black who is a writer as well - came by with two vinyls and we played them on my turntable while we shared home made ice tea and Mum's Christmas Cake. Little Miss Stevie had the best time talking to both of us.
Today... I slept in because the morning was lovely and cool and I had had a late shower last night and washed my hair, so found it easy to go to sleep in the warm night air. I also walked to the service station next door to find the glass automatic doors with a big crack in them. When I asked Nick, the owner, about them he told me that it happened around 2am when the doors were locked and some impatient customers had rung the bell and they hadn't come out fast enough. Some people! What these customers didn't know was that they had been filmed and the police caught up with them and charge them with vandalism. So, what started out with paying for petrol ended up costing these customers a lot more.
Yeah, you wonder if some people have any brains at all

@digitalrn too true, Rick. I see so much go on around my area and do wonder if the world is going to really get any better.
