This morning, I heard and saw these wonderful native birds around my area. The main picture and first two on the right were taken from my back door (I love the zoom on my little digital camera! Then, I cropped the photos a little).
And the bottom two were taken from the bus stop when I spotted a couple of Kookaburras cuddling up on a street light and laughing their heads off... how cute is that?
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@beteljooz@digitalrn@BevAnneS thank you all for your lovely comments. I do love these birds a they're harmless and quite the characters in our country; and they are distinctive with their laugh too.
They remind me of what my late-Grandma used to tell me about rain. If you heard them laugh for more than 30 seconds to 1 minute, it means rain within the week. And you know, she was usually right! :D
