Each year, in the month of August, it's Sci-Fi Month throughout the Logan City Libraries. This covers all kinds of sci-fi... Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Stargate, Battlestar Galactica, Star Wars, Darleks, Time Lords, Game of Thrones... and everything in between!
While I was at the Logan North Library, I also attended a sci-fi workshop by Rebecca Timmis. it went for 3 hours and it was about world-building. I loved it; and found new things I could used in my writing that I had ignored for a long time.
