The Lid Brought Back To Life

Today Dad and I sanded back the first coat of shellac, then applied three coats to each part - the body and the lid.

Doesn't the lid look fantastic with the grain of the Rosewood all showing?

There's a lot more work to go into it tomorrow - with 0000 steel wool and shellac and then furniture polish to go into it... polish only made from bees wax, of course. :D
