This is a lovely picture frame I'm taking my time with. It was a sky blue colour, then I sanded the paint on it back as far as I could before painting it white, then yellow, and finally putting on the three coats of gold paint on the whole frame.
All that took 3 days.
Then, I sat down and spent over 2 hours painting the vines around it... because it's all on a curve I had to take my time, wait for one coat to dry properly and then work on the next detail.
All up, this frame - so far - has taken me around a week to do.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@wendyfrost Thank you... I do love doing the frames. I think I'll sell this one for around $15 at the November markets; it's going to have some bronze flowers on it.
Tonight, I've finished up another 3 coat hangers to add to the other 3 coat hangers which were ready to be varnished. I've got more to do for the markets. I'm hoping to get more done over the next week... but I will need a bigger stores box... yeah, bigger boat time! :P
