Over 15 Years of Volunteering

Today I was at a morning tea at the Logan Art Gallery where the volunteers there all gathered for the time we have been appreciated for our time there.

Last year, the gallery forgot I had been there for 15 years, so I had to wait another year to get my certificate. Now, they're a year out and I had to remind them it's now 16 years... and I had joined them in 1998. Jillian (the lady who had fluffed it up last year) said she will be ready next time when my 20 years comes up. :D

But doesn't it all look wonderful? I love the painting... it's just gorgeous.

Thanks, too, Lynda, for your kind words about my photos... The variety of subject matter here almost makes it easy! We leave for a week in Chicago on Wednesday and then home to California for Christmas. Please extend love to your parents for me, and Merry Christmas to all of you ♥

@kerenmcsweeney Wonderful! I love volunteering at the Logan Art Gallery - which is celebrating 20 years of being where they are. My Dad joined up with the Volunteer Marine Rescue last year and loves it. :D
