There's this lovely statue in memory of this wonderful dog everyone knew called Monty. He was a Labrador who used to carry his owner's shopping basket around for him and wait outside all the shops while the man went inside each store and did his shopping.
Unfortunately, the dog passed away. And because he had become such a big part of the community, this statue was put up in the Stones Corner Village to remind people of him. And you know? Monty looked just like this, and he was so friendly too.
