Flower Painting

Yesterday, I went out to a friends' house to 'get arty' and to get away from where I live.

The area I live isn't great for artists - my muse tends to run away from me when I want to do any painting and that's not good.

So, when I head off to this friends' place, I can get in and work some great work! They say I'm always welcome to get there and work on any paintings I wish until I move to a better area in the future... which is great of them to say - but I don't want to seem as though I'm using them.

But yesterday, we did some great work! This is of a flower I found outside their front door... I took a photo of it with my tablet and picked a canvas which was painted black already, and started on it with white paint.

This is around 3 hours' work.
