Beatrix Potter

I've been to the Lakes District in the UK and it's absolutely gorgeous! Beatrix Potter owned a lot of the land around that area and donated it back to the government so long they promised not to make it into anything but a nature reserve; otherwise she'd take it bake off them.

Her house is along the banks of Windermere Lake and there's another place near Gracemere too.

And one of my favourite characters of hers was this lovely duck.
