I bought this lovely kettle on my Fly-Buy points. This is a system where you can purchase useful items using a points system while you do your grocery shopping. For every dollar I spend, I get a point - and the great thing is that every month, Fly-Buys sends out vouchers I can use every week to pump up my points score.
Thus I can reach my goals faster.
My next goal is to get enough points for a dash cam (something I can't afford to buy myself as I don't actually have the cash myself - but if I wait a few months, I can get it on my Fly-Buys account).
I did this with my toaster and scored a really cool Sharp brand toaster a few years back - it cost me 9,000 points. This kettle cost me 28,000 points.
It's a great way to get something you really want when you're a little cash poor and don't have access to a credit card.
