This is J, my BJD boy, taking on the role of a star who hates unwanted attention. (I totally understand that. And I apologize to those who had commented on my selfie shot. Had to delete it. Thank goodness I came to my senses.)
FYI: BJDs are ball-jointed dolls made of polyurethane resin, handcast and handstrung. They are highly posable and customizable. My boys are 60cm tall. (About 2 feet.) BJDs of this size weigh about 3-4 kg. (About 6-8lbs.) You can google "BJD" for more information.

I did see the selfie Livia, just didn't get chance to comment, loved the little mosaic mirrors and I hope you will forgive me saying so but I think that it was a far better and more interesting image than this one :)

I was looking at it, trying not to panic, trying to tell myself it's okay to leave it there, it's not going to give me nightmares to have it in my project, and then the comments came in and I panicked. 8P

Sorry to have missed your selfie but I'm right there with you about having panic attacks and nightmares with regards to a photo of oneself out there in the public domain! I'm not sure I could do it :-)

I saw the first shot too, but was dragged away before commenting, either way both were very good shots, the comment you made on the first one made me wonder if it was your birthday, but now I know. Perhaps you could start to get used to seeing pics of yourself on here by using photoshop effects like posterise, just an idea. : )

I missed your selfie =( Im sure it was fab, but if your not ready, your not ready.....and i always love your shots of your boys! Im not sure id be able to spot the difference between J and Wish?
@mantha Technically, J and Wish are two different heads. J is a F16 and Wish is a School C (a slightly smaller head). They have also been customized by two different BJD artists (with very different styles) who sanded, painted and airbrushed the heads. I've also given them very different personalities and histories, but that's a long story I won't go into the details of. People may fall asleep reading and hurt their heads on the keyboard. XD It's all right if you have trouble telling the boys apart. A lot of BJD dolls look alike to most people. 8)
I love J almost as much as I love Wish! They are awesome and this is a fabulous shot and cool processing! J looks like a real star! I am sorry that I missed your selfie though, it would be wonderful to see the woman behind the amazing photos! I do understand the panic thing though..I get that with about half the photos I post...I choose which one, I upload, then I second guess and panic...my husband thinks I'm ridiculous, I just don't think he gets the perfectionist in me...
