From the Wiki: The snapshot concept was introduced to the public on a large scale by Eastman Kodak, which introduced the Brownie box camera in 1900. Kodak encouraged families to use the Brownie to capture moments in time and to shoot photos without being concerned with producing perfect images. Kodak advertising urged consumers to "celebrate the moments of your life" and find a "Kodak moment."
Good composition Livia, like the info too, that's a cool little thing for a photogapher to have, especially one like you who mostly shoots cool little things :)
Beautiful composition and bits of history, Livia! It's kind of sad that's all gone now. Digital is not quite as tangible to me. If all the digital equipment failed for some reason like a well placed EMP, what would people do?
Fab pic. There have always been words and sayings based around brands forming part of our every day speech, such as Google It or I need a Kleenex, etc. Not sure there'll be another Kodak Moment in this digital age but I hope it's a term we all hold on to for sentiment's sake.
This is wonderful! I don't miss those days of dropping off a roll of film from an instamatic, only to find out they were terrible when they were developed!
A great, big, bright and warm and nostalgic "THANK YOU!" to all for taking the time to stop by. Before digital cameras existed, I always used Kodak film. I loved the warm tones in the photos that Kodak film gives.
Again, thank you, for your encouragement and support! Some days, it gets hard. But I will struggle on, I can't wait to finish my project.
this is one of the things i mostly miss about singapore. there was a shop at the market where they sold these beautiful charms and miniature stuff. this here is nice. i want it! :-)
Love the angle and DoF !!
This is composed very nicely, love the charm
