Hi Kathy! Excited to see what get pushed challenge you come up with for me! I think I have a good one for ya - panning! I saw one panning shot of yours back in June. Perhaps it's time for another one?!
@attraversi Hi Stephanie - I will gladly accept your challenge! It has been a while since I've done a panning shot and look forward to trying it again. The hardest thing about it is it is cold outside but I'm not going to make any sort of excuses! I look forward to partnering with you for next week's Get pushed challenge
Kathy I was in such a hurry to issue you a challenge that I completely spaced on giving you options to choose from. It's been a crazy week, my apologies! If you haven't already done the challenge I'd like to reissue it? Taking into account the cold season where you are I'd like to give you two options:
1. Reflections. From a mirror, water, or any type of shiny surface.
2. Food editorial. Imagine that you were to submit a recipe to a food magazine. How would you photograph it to make it pop off the page?
If you're set on the panning challenge though - by all means! I just wanted to give you the same amount of leeway that you did me! By the way, I choose macro. I haven't taken those for a while so I'm looking forward to it. Hope you're content with your new/original challenge. Excited to find out which one you choose.
@attraversi Oh thank you Stephanie!! I appreciate that so much. Today is a warmer day of 30 degrees but that is too cold for me. I know with panning you have to take many shots to get the one you like. I was hoping to take someone skiing or snowmobiling but I don't know anyone who has one or where to go. If I get an opportunity to do a panning I will do that as an extra get-pushed. I recently had the food magazine or cookbook food challenge so I will go with reflections. I never had a reflections challenge so this should be a lot of fun!!! What is really funny is I almost gave you the reflections as a challenge and I was going to say the same thing it could be water, mirror or whatever - so this is so funny that I got it. I'm excited for this challenge.
