Wow stunning shot! So Kathy how about this for technique challenge - take a photo of a reflection and flip it making the reveresed reflection the main part or featured part of the photo. I've done a number of flips. Key is to find a very good reflection. And the effect is a dreamy water color painting like look.

I can post some info and samples for reference. Unless you have another suggestion since all my other topics have been covered.

@michaelelliott Oh please do that one - I love the idea!! Thank you so much!!

@myhrhelper - ok I'll post it later tonight.

@michaelelliott This will be so much fun. The closest thing I've ever done was this shot: http://365project.org/myhrhelper/365/2012-08-30 but I don't think that is what you are actually talking about.

@myhrhelper - Yeah that photo would be good because you flipped it so the reflection is rightside up as main view and the reality is upside down as the secondary view. So it can be like that or it can be a reflection flipped so basically the entire photo is the reflection. What # is this 4?

OK Kathy I got it to work!

@michaelelliott Thank you for posting - the only thing missing in the post is the acknowledgement of the previous winner - who asked someone host for him: http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/17664/winner-technique-3-split-toning

@myhrhelper - ok I added that thx.

kathy, this tops anything you've ever captured, i believe. i'd kill to capture something like this - maybe a fly or a mosquito is all i could kill, but i want to capture something like this. i absolutely love this.
