Business Professional Photo - which should I use

II lean toward using this one for my website or should I use the other one?

Both are winners 😊

I think they are both lovely Kathy, & they both convey a warm, open & professional image. I very slightly prefer this crop (proportions image:face ; slightly less of the shirt shows which leads the 'eye' to linger more on the subjects face; & eye positions on rule of thirds line) & edit (of hair, lighting & editing of vignette & contrast levels) .
With the other shot -- I ( slightly) prefer the angle of shooting and expression. It is subjective though and both images work.
They can be 'different' & both 'winners' - it does not always need to be a 1st and a 2nd when comparing images. I like professional CV head shots in 3:4 ratio for the web (a ratio that is close to the ratio of a face) and 5 x 7 or 8 x 10 for print & framing, but that is just personal too. It depends on the website requirement, and personal preference (eg https://zsuttonphoto.com/crop-headshot-photography-way/).

@chejja thank you for commenting. It is funny, This was taken in 2016 which at that time I was proud of, Looking at it now I would say I need a light for separation from the background and better focus. I have done a lot more head shots now so my style has changed. Thank you for commenting and the follow.
