Actually, snow shoes will give you great freedom to go anywhere, but of course as soon as you buy them, it wills top snowing! I'm convinced Chicago got all this snow because we left our snowshoes on the island since we haven't had enough snow here to use them in years! I love the image -- the sense of cold/snow and beauty too.
wonderful snowy scenery - looks as if snow is still falling here - I miss snow here - we haven't had any this winter at all - last winter we had snow in November and had falls that kept going to March.
