Garden Tiger

This is a Tiger Bee Fly.I love their dark bat-like appearance.Not dangerous to humans..just Carpenter Bees.It lays its eggs in the nest of Carpenters Bees.When the larva hatch they prey on the Carpenter Bee larva.As adults they sip nectar .
