That's what we call the process of a Monarch Butterfly caterpillar shedding its skin for the last time,The skin splits from the bottom to expose the green chrysalis.The chrysalis wriggles and jiggles to toss off the old caterpillar skin.It will shortly harden to a beautiful jade green chrysalis.( posted yesterday)
