Every Day is Harry Day

I know I just shot 30 days of Harry...but he is just so adorable.
That missing ear tip is the mark of a cat that lived in a feral colony. When the local shelter traps them to neuter them they evaluate suitability for adoption. Harry was deemed to be too wild so his ear was tipped ( marking him as already neutered so he wouldn’t be trapped again) and he was returned to the colony. Later that year they saw Harry with a large wound on his head. They trapped him to stitch him up and he was found to be a much calmer cat. I don’t know if it was the crack to his head or the relief he felt being cared for but he is an angel now. Such a loving and kind cat. Never a hiss out of him! I can’t even imagine him being feral! He was named “Head Wound Harry” and later “Handsome Harry” by the shelter. He is now officially “Happy Harry”.
Harry is such a sweetheart!

He is so beautiful - amazing to think that he was a feral cat. :)

Such a nice story. I have a friend who has homed 3 feral cats. Still a bit wild when others are around, they were very loving cats with her.
