Found two of these beauties on my Queen Anne’s Lace yesterday. I am feeding and caring for them in a screened in enclosure on my porch to keep them safe from predators. Can’t wait to watch them transform and emerge ! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papilio_polyxenes
Oh cool! I’m doing the same thing with Monarch butterflies. We have eleven of them we raised from eggs that are ready to emerge from their chrysalides any day!
@pixelchix that’s so great! I do that too. I am a member of the Monarch Teacher Network and used to raise them with my class of three year olds. Now that I am retired...I still do it!
