''And what is the use of a book', thought Alice, 'without pictures or conversation?''
Slightly uninspired shot today but I didn't have a lot of time and I'm slightly running out of inspiration. I do have a few more ideas, though some aren't yet properly formed, if anyone has any suggestions though, feel free to let me know!
I cut my thumb open on a bread knife last night and until today never realised how much I used my left thumb! Who knew buttons could be so difficult xD Ah well, it's healing so all is good :)
I went to Explorers tonight for the first time in agesss and we were painting walls, it was well fun xD it's good to have a night off every now and again :) (even though I still did some work :P)
I love this shot!! But your thumb, ouch! I always cut myself on Tupperware, evil stuff.
Hmm, how about something with a fading "Cheshire" cat, or a Mad Hatter's hat, caterpillar with some smoke blown around him, some cards, a rabbit hole,...okay, this is one of my favorite books so I could go on and on. You'll think of something!! Oh gosh--I wish I would have thought of this theme!! Maybe another book...
I quite like this Naomi! :D I wish I had some ideas for you, but I'm not really sure what you could add...perhaps pictures of the queen of hearts? or something to deal with that? or a hat? or a watch?
I hope your thumbs heals quickly! It sounds like it hurts. :/
and painting walls are so much fun!!!! I'm sure you had a wonderful time! :D
The drink me bottle? Was there something about jam tarts in the book or was that just in the disney film? Other characters - white rabbit, mad hatter, tweedledum and tweedledee, the dormouse in the teapot. Jaberwocky - like in the poem in the book. Um, can't think of many more, but will let you know if I do.
Love this! I have working on an Alice in Wonderland inspired collection as well, I just haven't shared any of my pieces yet, lol. Yours are very well done. I love seeing them.
i like this. it evokes a feeling of summer - spending the day out, lying on the grass and reading a good book :)
sorry to hear about your thumb, hope it is not too bad :(
