'You got a fast car, But is it fast enough so we can fly away?'
It's my brother's birthday today :]
He got a meccano remote control 3 kit car thingy which he's been playing with all day. I bought him a watch which luckily, seems to be exactly the sort he wanted! He also got quite a few other things. We saw a film, I've done some revision and now I'm watching the 'Come Dine With Me Christmas Special' and eating marzipan :p
In slightly sadder news, I found out today that the disabled lady I was doing my DT project for, has died. She was so lovely, an amazing woman with so much courage and faith and so many stories to tell. I meant to go and see her the other week. When I met her, I spent hours with her, she was proud to show me around her flat and how much she managed despite her disabilities. She was an active member of the community and just gave so much of herself to everybody, she was so giving and caring and just an absolutely lovely person who didn’t deserve to go yet. Everyone who knew her will remember her in a good light. RIP ♥
And I'm sorry that your new friend died. It's sad to take this kind of news.
but really sorry to hear your sad news. it's nice that you got to spend some time with her I bet she enjoyed that :)
