A very right-wing young man at the polling station smugly told me that the Tories were almost certain to get in. I put him in his place and he stopped bouncing.
I've never been fearful for an election result before but gah. I don't even like Labour but I hate the Conservatives more.
I'm fearful for our NHS, our education system, our police...
For me, it seemed that this was our very last chance to save the NHS. Therefore, voting decided. The way it is all playing out now is horrendous. However, a small flame has been lit and I am hopeful that it will not be extinguished.
