Land Snail by natsnell

Land Snail

I needed a photo for today so I have taken inspiration from Alison Bailey's (@dulciknit) project and shot a snail.

I knew exactly where to find a nice lively snail... just under the lid of the compost bin. The leaf is from a Rumex Obtusifolius (Broad-leaved Dock) that grows around the base of the compost bin.

I was already dark outside so both were brought inside for the photo shoot.
Nice shot! LOL - see, they're getting to you, too, you're even taking them in! ;-)

@dulciknit I've put him (it) outside again now. I did feel a certain bond between us after a while. He would not stop sill and they defiantly have a better side for photographing so I had to keep spinning him round to get the curly shell in shot.
