For the last couple of months I have been making use of some cheap swimming vouches. They expired at the end of the year so I looked to see if any other offers were available.
I found Swim the Tees Challenge.
You choose 1 of 4 challenges:
1) Tees Barrage to Middlesbrough Riverside Stadium 4.5 miles (288 lengths)
2) Tees Barrage to Yarm Bridge 8.5 miles (544 lengths)
3) Tees Barrage to Tees Mouth 10.25 miles (656 lengths)
Ultimate Challenge) Complete all three challenges! 23.25 miles (1488 lengths)
Naturally I choose Ultimate Challenge! I have until then end of March.
It cost me £10 and I get 30 Swims for £1 which if I use all 30 works out at £1.33 per swim... which is an absolute bargain. I estimate I will use about 26 and save myself about £57 in standard swimming fees until the end of March.
The photo show my bike computer for logging my rides, watch for running and my log book for the swimming challenge.
@oldjosh It does not have to be done all at once. Each time I go swimming until the end of March I need to count how many lengths I swim. When I leave I get my log book stamped and the total updated.
