Two cars abandoned in South Nicosia…

… on the steel boarder to the DMZ. It’s shocking to see how this city is split between the Northern Turkish Occupied Territory and Greek Cyprus in the south.
On Friday we are taking a coach tour to Turkish Northern Cyprus - it will be interesting to see the contrast.

I had the privilege of doing the Green Line Tour of Nicosia with the UN back in 1996. We went to an abandoned Datsun (now Nissan) showroom and saw over 10 1974 models with 3 miles on the clock sat looking pretty pristine.
