I use the Torpoint ferry a lot when I am in Cornwall. It is one of my favorite photo-points because there is always something interesting to look at while crossing. I have been to Plymouth and back today. I sit, as I write, overlooking the Tamar river and the docks.
This picture is not just about this sailing vessel that came very close to the ferry. You can see through the gap in the sails an aircraft carrier in the distance. Plymouth Dockyard is a big local employer and most of the work is for the Navy. Warships are frequently laid-up alongside waiting for some sort of attention.
