I spent around six hours on this photograph. It is part of a project I have been working on for more than two years. It requires the most complex lighting set up. At the moment it is still beyond my skills. Mind you it has helped me improve my lighting work a lot.
What you see here is a processed version which covers up for the unskilled lighting in the actual photograph from today. This one is really a one-off, a creative off-shoot. It is not like the eventual series I envisage. I rather liked the outcome of playing around with it after giving up on the original for today.
One day I am gonna get the picture I want. I think there is a great series in this idea. In the meantime... enjoy.

This is great, love the tweaking...now I'm so curious as to what the original looks like! Anyway, good luck, and I know you're going to get it just the way you want it! You have mad skills with the camera.
@brittgow - fortunately not! Those cocktail glasses cost me a second mortgage on the house. Wow. Could not believe how much they were. Also could not believe how difficult it was to get the right thing. Everyone wants to do silly prints or patterns on glasses right now. I just wanted plain ordinary cocktail glasses.
