Identify This No. 164

This week we have a pile of things to stimulate our strange-object-recognition-cells... what are they and what are they used to do? Place your answers in 'comments' below.

More about "Identify This"... http://365project.org/netkonnexion/number03/2011-05-11

Previously, in ID This No. 163... [see: http://365project.org/netkonnexion/365/2011-11-09 ]

Yes, of course, a Canon lens bag. You get a leather drawstring bag like this with the quality Canon lenses. You saw the drawstring and top the the bag taken using a Canon 100mm F2.8 macro lens.

Honourable mentions...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mike Warren - Draw string on a lens bag? Net says:-->> Yehhhhha! Top notch! Well done. Drat! The first entry too. Nice one and well done. Yaaaaaaaaheeho!
The other recognisers of old bags were...
Brian Baptie; Lisa; Marilyn Wigen; mittens (Marilyn); Natacha Murphy and some others below...
Alison Bailey - Certainly looks like a drawstring on a bag. I think it's probably on a drawstring bag. 0:-). Net says:-->> You know what they say, if it looks like a drawstring bag, and pulls like a drawstring bag, it is probably a drawstring bag. LOL.
Howard N - Everyone knows this is the draw string on what looks to be a cotton bag of sorts. What they don't know is what is stashed in the bag... that should be the question. One might stash a bottle of 18 year old Scotch Whiskey, another, vile weed, and a third some kind of gizmo one would attach to a camera. Ponder what the Net man stashes!!! Net says:-->> Actually I am stashing a lens. LOL. But fun commentary. Not seen you recently Howard. Come back we are missing you!
Paula Brumbe - ID badge? but I think the bag is suede or velvety texture. Net says:-->> An interesting idea. Cool but not an ID badge! LOL> A Doohicky award! Yeeeaaaaahha!
Paula Cook-Farkas - I've got nothing...braids on parade? Net says:-->> Oooops! No, but a Doohicky Award! Yaahy!
Margaret Tryon - I'm with Paula. Whatever type of rope it is...it's pretty cool. I'll check in for the answer. Net says:-->> It is pretty cool. LOL.
Rick Schies - Could be part of a lawn chair... Net says:-->> Well, I did not see that one coming! LOL. But an interesting idea. Nice one. A Doohicky award! Yeeeeeeehaaaa!
Susan - Drawstring on a sweatshirt??? Net says:-->> Interesting idea. Ohhh! thats gotta hurt if you catch your nips in that! LOL... A Doohicky Award! YYYYYYYYYaaaaaaaahoooo!
Bev - draw string for something... possibly a sweatshirt hood? Net says:-->> Oooops! No, but a Doohicky Award! Yaahy!
Sue Wilde - I can draw string if you give me a pencil. Net says:-->> Huge LOL... Tears streaming down face! Nice one.
alia_801 - Cool colours and patterns in the drawstring... whatever it's attached to. Net says:-->> A drawstring lens bag! LOL...
Dione Giorgio - Draw string for a jacket or duffle coat. Net says:-->> Oooops! No, but a Doohicky Award! Yaahy!
Carole Imes - Bathrobe drawstring? Net says:-->> Oooops! No, but a Doohicky Award! Yaahy!
Brandie - A magical bag full of gold coins and jewels! (Blame the playing pretend pirates, kings and queens with my daughter hehe.) Net says:-->> Net says:-->> Ooooh! How I wish it was filled with treasure! No, but a Doohicky Award! Yaahy!
stephanie dp - love the way you shot this - cool tones and textures. I agree a drawstring and I second wanting to know what is in the bag! Net says:-->> A lens!
Flydragon - two strings playing chinese fingers? Net says:-->> LOL. Nice one. A "Doohicky Award!" Yahooo!
Thanks for your visit and all your comments I enjoy them all. Hope to see ya tomorrow! There will be an answer for this picture next week. Keep you eyes open...
