Lovely composition . . I LOVE the water ripples and the movement. I would love to be able to get this. Was this processed to look like that, net? I'm just curious. It's so beautiful!
@karenann - Mostly straight out of camera. I had underexposed it deliberately to ensure that the whites were not blown out as the sky was very bright. So I had to bring up the exposure and protect the detail in the whites. That meant doing a little enhancement on the eye too to bring out the catchlight which was underexposed. But the water is totally untouched. Cropped to give it more of a letterbox shape. That always helps to give the impression of movement.
@karenann - Thanks for the fav. Actually the work on this was only a few minutes. It is pretty quick doing that sort of stuff. The underexposure to preserve the whites is an in-camera preparation for the shot. The rest was simple and quick finish in photoshop. Unfortunately these days I cannot afford to spend ages on my personal work. LOL... Working too hard!
