Ah, that brings back memories of childhood trips to the seaside. I always liked the pebble beaches better than the sand for just these sorts of reasons.
this is all at once fun and poignant. i'm sure that some young soul played with this (if you didn't set it up), which triggers long ago memories (for those of us who are well into our middle age) of holidays by the sea and playing with sands or gathering shells and pebbles. and when a photograph triggers memories that far back, i say it is a great photograph. well done, damon.
