It looks good as a b&w. The tones give the work a sort of dystopian ambience.
Three people, three different types of viewing? The one in the middle seems to have glazed over a little but perhaps that's how he appears when he's deep in thought.
I like the fragmented, implied line in the 'rocks' (? I see why others are saying potatoes ) that directs the eye to the people.
@dulciknit They have the colour of potatoes too. But the scene is supposed to be a landscape in a room if I remember rightly. It was a fun exhibit. All the other judges walked right past it. But I really liked the idea. I have had an idea for doing a landscape like that with eggs for years. But have never had the money to buy enough eggs. Hay ho! One day perhaps.
@dulciknit - ah yes. It is Dino-beach like. These are soft, stuffed fabric 'stones'. But the eggs would be hard and white. I want the whole thing to be a high key experience. The number of eggs is the rub. For what I have in mind about 1500 eggs would be needed. To be effective the way I envision the final texture I need to have quite a big set up. Oh, I also don't have studio space to do it. Still working on that project.

The Eggy Landscape sounds intriguing. How many eggs would you need ?!
