I think they're both great. I'd choose the b&w, if the context was historical and the coloured version if it was in a more modern context. I'm thinking of illustrations for a book or something like that.
Maybe a slight sepia tone would look even better, more olde worlde. Ithink I do prefer this shot to the colour version but I was instantly drawn to it anyway xx

I prefer this one. For me, it has a good range of tones that makes for a very nice b&w.
The colour version does stir my memories of this sort of shop front more than the b&w but I have a problem with the colour of the woodwork. Woodwork of that colour always jars on me and never sits harmoniously in any environment to my eyes.
