Interesting use of lines in this - and the black pen, pen ends and shadows. Deceptively simple composition and cool high key.
(Looks like somebody put a top from a lighter shade of pen on the furthest purple pen but maybe that's a trick of the light.)
@dulciknit - T'was rather a quick assembly. Yes, the deception of the furthest pen was the light from the infinity wall reflecting diffused light back onto the pens. Funny, I did not even look at these until I was downloading an insurance job from my camera and realised that I had these ones on there from a lesson a few days before. I decided to have a look. It worked out rather well for a quick lesson in simplicity and colour composition.
The infinity wall was made out of four sheets of A4 stuck together and illuminated with a hand held LED photographic light.
