Identify This! No. 25

Yellow again (I worked hard to get another yellow one).
So what is the object in the shot today?

Have fun!

Yestderday you saw...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yesterday we found out that "...this is a candle putter outer!"
LOL.ROFL > He he! thanks for that Scooter, excellent laughs all round on that one. Great.
Congratulations to all those who worked out we were looking at a Candle Snuffer. In fact it was the same one that put out the very same candles photographed for my 365 album.
Kathy Moore Graham [@katgram1013] was first with Candle Snuffer. Well done.
Honerable mentions go to...
Sue Wilde [@swilde] who seems to have some issues with alterboys not being able to put out tall candles. Well, I really don't know what to say about the issues there. I bow to your experience.
Katherine Ann Klinck [@harley84] thinks it may be a grinder of some sort. Unique thinking there!
Paula Brumbe [@brumbe] seems to have had parents who had issues with tie-dye. Obviously not a child of the '60s.
Saras Dad, [@sarasdadandmom] thought it was a handle of some sort. Not a very substantial one I fear.
We also had a brass bell. Thanks to ding dong along Kathy A [@kjarn] for that one.
And finally the innovative June Milner [@june] suggested the top of an old soda siphon. I did not understand how that one would work, but I take your word for the likeness June.
Thank you all for coming. Please keep making comments. We all love 'em.
See you tomorrow.
Enjoy!
I think its a scourer - you know the rough cloth thing or rough side of a double sponge that you use to clean those hard to remove bits of baked on food.
@aj1268 I must agree with Paula on this, that it is a filter of some sort, and when two out of three Paula's agree, well it must be right.
Here in Florida, it would be an air conditioner filter. I'm guessing a filter of some kind.
