Identify This! No.72

What is the object today? No clues tonight. Lots of possibilities however. Ever seen one before?
More about "Identify This"... http://365project.org/netkonnexion/number03/2011-05-11

Yestderday you saw...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yes, some intrepid soles got it right yesterday. It was a side flash bracket for a camera. It screws into the underside hole of the camera and the bracket sticks out to one side. The flash being mounted on the side adds slightly more definition to the face shadows and it also helps to prevent red-eye light rebounding. You can see one here... http://www.jessops.com/online.store/products/9097/show.html
The clever ones are...
Howard N; Nancy Holte; Steven Galvin; Crazy Girl; Doug O.; Linda
Hmmm, it kind of looks like an attachment to a power drill is used to mix paint. Or maybe an immersion blender.
It is a mixin thing. Could be just a shaft and blade used as a portable drill attachment or possibly the lower portion of a portable mixer. Any how, before I become more mixed up, I will declare a 'mixin thingy' is this evenings doohickie!!!
July 21st, 2011
Well, I was going to go with a stick blender (AKA immersion blender) but I kind of think that Rick's answer @digitalrn is closer to correct. Then again, sometimes my first instincts have paid off.
I'm going with the crowd on paint mixer.
July 22nd, 2011
I have to come in late and go with the crowd, but since I do date a man who owns a hardware store it really does seem to be a paint mixer you attach to your drill. But I really wish it was a corn on the cob plate which would be more interesting to talk about.
July 22nd, 2011
