Day 1. Mess & Mayhem by newbank

Day 1. Mess & Mayhem

This was taken before the 100 days happy started but since taking it I've come down with a horrible viral bug and barely left the house. But i did take it as a song came onto the radio that made me look at the boys and just be reminded yet again what a blessing and gift they are and that the mess and mayhem two small boys make is worth it each and everyday. 100 days happy. Remember through all the daily frustrations they are so worth it.
Sam

That is a very respectable level of mess especially in my house. Don't let anybody tell you boys are messier than girls. But as long as they are having fun I am happy.

Great point of view, and nice, detailed clarity.

I just love this shot. It is so good to see a 'home' and not just a house and that your boys are able to make as much mess as they like without being told off for doing so. You have such creative sons.
Hope you are feeling better soon.

Looks like two very happy campers to me Ruth. Hope you recover from your bug quickly and back to your usual happy self.

Kids and mess go hand in hand. They're worth it but sometimes it's hard work

That's imagination for you - messy. I encountered a little girl who clearly had a dirt phobia the other day and I winced as she skipped in to some very sloppy cow poo in her pristine wellies. She went completely hysterical and was still sobbing when I saw them again 20 min later - embrace the mess!!

@judithg I'm very okay with mess. Despite being bathed I'm sure both boys were tucked into bed tonight with a hint of tomato ketchup still on their faces......
