Beautifully shot, Ruth and I love those muted colours. Fav! I'm reading 'The Year of the Flood' (Margaret Atwood) in which the 'Crakers' purr over injuries to make them better. You could do with some purring over, I'm sure.

@taffy I'm pleased with this one.... though flowers are sooooooo way out of my comfort zone...which seems ironic considering what I am photographing at present.

A huge fav for this shot. I really admire your flower arranging skills, mine is rather lacking. Lovely to see some brightness and colour seeping into your black and white world at the moment. May the colour return to your life soon.
I love the complimentary dots. They are beautiful flowers and well captured, shown up well against the background. I too find flowers hard to photograph to capture their essence.

@judithg I documented it all. The photos are restricted though. And in a moment of madness I submitted them to black and white photography magazine. A selection get published this month in their documentary slot. If you want a look I can unrestrict you but clearly it isn't what everyone wants to see!!
