We visited Hayling Island and stopped off by the old oyster beds as the tide came in. The path is the former railway line used to transport tonnes of the popular Emsworth oysters to customers inland. The restored signal marks the start of the former bridge which used to include a swing bridge over the Portsmouth to Arundel canal
