I called round to Huntly Lake this afternoon to see if there was anything to photograph. In the end I was there for about an hour taking photos of Canada geese, black swans, shags, people, the landscape and the lake. But in the end the shot I liked the most was of this little female sparrow. She's perched on some stones on the edge of the lake. (I love the school holidays as they give me time to spend an hour by the lake just taking photos - not something I can do very often during term time!)
A beautiful image, so much wonderful detail Nick. Thank you so much for the lovely comment you left on my farewell collage. I have enjoyed following your Project very much. Keep snapping :)
