Craters on the Moon

I love the detail I can see with my zoomy P900 camera. I also tried taking shots with my 7200 and 18-140 lens but just got a tiny fuzzy moon.

(Only time to have a quick look through the photos on my feed and do a bit of uploading this evening, sorry.)
Brilliant image.

That's an amazing photo Nick. I have a similar one here on the wall in front of me, same sort of detail. However, I took that through a telescope many years ago when I was studying astronomy at uni. You have a good camera! Incidentally did you use a tripod or is it hand held.

@dide @leestevo @suzanne234 @julzmaioro @dawnee @rickster549 @thrumylenz @888rachel Thank you all very much :)
@laurieewilson Thanks Laurie. My 7200 is relatively new so I look forward to seeing your shots with it.
@taffy Thanks Taffy. No the P900 can't shoot in raw and is quite a basic camera but it does have an amazing 83X zoom. I bought it purely for that reason as it was way cheaper than a zoom lens.
@susiemc Thanks Sue. Yes, I did use a tripod. The camera has a moon setting which has the shutter open for a few seconds so it needs to be very still.
