This little hedgehog was absolutely fast asleep in the middle of a track when we were at Woodlands the other day. He (could have been a she!) stayed asleep even though I was practically touching him when I was taking photos. He made cute little squeaking noises in his sleep. After a few minutes he stirred and just slowly ambled away into the bushes.
