Our FB group was challenged to do a week of double exposures. It's not something I've done much off so it was good to have a practice.
~ top left: "Through the Looking Glasses" - it was raining and my glasses got covered in raindrops so I couldn't see the wood for the trees (taken using my camera's multi-exposure setting).
~ top right: "The Price of Progress" - the field behind our house is being developed for houses so the little displaced rabbit has taken up residence in our garden. (Created in Pixlr using a rabbit pic taken this day and an image of the diggers I took a few days previously.)
~ middle left: "Updating our Dresser" - we bought a Welsh dresser with money we were given as wedding presents many moons ago and my husband is painting it to give it a more up to date look. (Taken in camera.)
~ middle middle: "Getting Ready to Climb Our Mountain" - we've bought a minibus which we're going to convert o a campervan so we can go on adventures further afield than just day trips. (Created using Pixlr - I took the van pic the day we took the seats out and the beach shot on our trip to Raglan before Christmas).
~ middle right: "Eleanor with Hibiscus in her Hair" - taken in camera and desaturated in post-editing. This was practising after I read a link on double exposures provided by @joysabin
~ bottom left: "First Meal in our Van"- for our first meal we took fish & chips to Port Waikato to have a walk on the beach and watch the sunset. (This was taken in camera.)
~ bottom right: "Tilly Dreaming of a Walk in the Fields" - my first attempt at a double exposure during this week and it was created in Pixlr.
@joysabin Thanks for the advice on double exposures. The one on the top left (glasses) and the middle right (my daughter) were taken in camera after I'd had a look at the link you gave me. The one with my daughter was great to practice. Only trouble was it was a rainy day so we didn't go off our deck and I didn't have very good trees or bushes to use for the infill in her hair.
