The First Camera that I Remember

It wasn't mine, oh no! It was Dad's and I remember it being ever present on family holidays, it felt like we would invariably finish one 36 exposure film the first week of our holiday and load up another which would be finished the following year!!

I love this; the worn leather, its cute little light meter and most of all the fact that the "science" behind it hasn't changed one bit, it's still "1/125 at 5.6ish!" It's just that with my digital cameras I can take shot after shot until I get it right!

That said it doesn't have that anticipation of getting the photos back from developing only to find that you had the lens cap on!
Beautiful,... and so well preserved! Fav... for the colours, the composition, the beauty... Fav!

Oh it's a beauty! You've brought it all back with 1/125 at 5.6ish! Now I remember where I started with every shot. Must try more manual....
