I finished this book last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I must admit I was attracted by the cover.
It is the story of two women who arrive in New York in the same day. Their paths cross when on of them finds the other floating in the river. The story is told from the perspective of the dead women. I don’t want to give anything away however I really liked the way in which the story was told.
Good to hear. My favourite book of the last few months has been The Midnight Library, by Matt Haig. Given what you say about this book, you might like to look it up and see if you fancy it!
@peadar I finished that one last week. It took me months to read and to be honest I didn’t enjoy it. It had so much potential and I felt that parts of it were rushed and written for the sake of writing, the ending was predictable and the writing clumsy. There was so much hype about that book that I was left disappointed.
